Permalinks: change to permalinks will lost the counts from facebooks and twitter

Hello Forum,

I want change from the normal WP-Links to speaking URL's. Maybe /%category%/%postname%/.
Works fine, but a lost the counts from twitter ans facebbook.

Give as a Workaround for older article?

too bad, For Google index, you can use rel="canonical" to link back to your old article.

But for social count, i have no idea also, try contact their support to discuss about it.

Thanks for the fast Answer,

my Idea ...

I try to change the programming of the plugin.
: save the date of switch the URL output
: articels bevor this date, have the old articel ID (URL) in the iframe url
: article after this date have the new speaking URL in the iframe url

You have an idea in which doc on which line ic must look?
