basically it is compatible but it is not suited for usage on an open multisite instalation as blog admins have access to the Floating section where they can edit/insert javascript which is highly insecure for multisite installations.
Not sure how t odo this, I for one, would build in a check something like: if is_site_admin then show floating menu, otherwise simply hide it. for normal users the normal one is enough.
IF it works without adjusting the CSS / JS code then maybe jsut hide the Ajax Floating Configuration and leave the rest?
the manual placement is also not useful as users can't edit their themes as themes are global so editing is disabled...
