The configuration in this page are applied to buttons in “Normal Display“, “Floating Display” and “Manual Placement“.
1. Facebook Like Configuration
For Facebook Like button only.
1.1 FaceBook language (locale)
Make FBLike display in different languages, for example, value “en_US”, display button in English (default), value “fr_FR” display button in “French”. All Facebook locales follow ISO language and country codes respectively, concatenated by an underscore. For detail, see this page for
1.2 FaceBook “send” button (XFBML only)
Include a “send” button, This “send” button is only available in FBLike (XFBML) version. It has no effect on the FBLike (Iframe) version.
1.3 FaceBook “show” face
Show facebook profile face (person who like your post) below FBLike button.
1.4 DiggDigg crawls your post’s image as thumbnail.
Allow DiggDigg to parse your post and take the first found image as the FB Like thumbnail image.
Recommended to put a default image URL. If DiggDigg is unable to find a thumbnail or your post don’t have any images, Digg Digg will take this “default image URL” as FB Like thumbnail.
2. Official Twitter configuration
For Twitter button only.
2.1 Twitter account
Put your twitter account (Without @). This account will display in tweet post, so that other twitter’s users are able to follow you.
3. TweetMeme configuration
For TweetMeme button only.
3.1 TweetMeme source
Put your twitter account name.
3.2 URL Shortener
Uses URL shorther service like “bit.ly” or “awe.sm” to shorten your long URL for tweet.
3.3 URL Shorten API Key
Bit.ly Pro requires the API Key to be in the format ‘user_name:api_key’. Where user_name is your username and api_key is your API Key.
If you do not required any URL shorten service, just leave it blank.
4. Topsy configuration
For Tospy button only.
4.1 Topsy source
Put your twitter account name.
4.2 Theme
Put a color theme for Topsy button, default is blue. You can check the detail in this Topsy theme documentation.
5, 6 Reset Buttons
5. Reset Global Configuration Settings
Reset all values in this “Global Configuration” page to the default value.
6. Reset Everything
Reset all values in “Global Configuration”, “Normal Display”, “Floating Display” and “Manual Placement” to default value. Just reset everything.
